Parallel brings you simultaneous live DJ sets from iconic venues in Liverpool and Manchester, across EE’s award-winning 5G network.
Last Thursday, 12th August was the first night where the magic of 5G made it possible for DJs to pair from two separate nightlife venues in Liverpool. EE, one of the biggest mobile network team up with the music platform Beatport to create a new concept of nightclubbing. 5G network provides the low latency and fast speeds needed to seamlessly mix sets together.
Fans were able to watch, listen and dance to the same set that was broadcast and produced in two different spaces at the same time. Liberté Rooftop and Matou Roof Terrace were the places selected for the past week with performances from Yousef, James Organ and Lauren Lo Sung along with Melé and Siân Bennett.
On the 19th of August in Hatch, Manchester live sets from Hot Since 82, DJ Paulette and Massey (Sprechen) have been confirmed with 5GEE powered virtual performances from Neil Diablo and Gina Breeze. Tickets are free and the entrance is for those over 18. People can also enjoy live streams of the events through Beatport`s Youtube channel.
